This is the impact of Ezer, this is what we are all about.
Over the past 3 years, time and time again we have witnessed girls experience freedom through confessing sin for the first time ever and be encouraged and challenged by the women around them.
ONE MOMENT
I had been part of the team that started this ministry, but it was in that moment that I truly understood the need and impact this ministry had.
A couple years ago, I was at a Christian weekend retreat with many other GCU students. We were in the middle of worship and a girl I had never met before approached me.
She said to me “we havent met before but I know you are an Ezer leader.” She said she knew she could talk to me because of what Ezer is and what the leaders stand for and then proceeded to confess sin to me that she had never shared out loud before and asked me to pray for her.
WHAT IS REAL
Real connection and community.
This generation is done with inauthenticity or performance, they know what is real.
At ezer, girls are getting to experience real connection and community with girls who love them and care for them, they feel free to confess sin and walk in the freedom that Christ died for, and then they are equipped to walk in the gifts and calling that God has given them to serve others and the kingdom of God.
We have been friends ever since, and she now leads one of our leadership teams at GCU and is a huge part of Ezer today.
EVERY WOMAN
We want to see every woman experience this.
We recently started at the Arizona State University right next door in Tempe and Biola University in southern California.
Our vision is to see every college woman transformed by the Good news, united in Christ-centered community, and equipped through discipleship and leadership to live out their God-given purpose with lasting impact.
